Description
This is a 3D plot of a Mandelbrot set fractal, adjusted to look like a mountainous landscape.
I added some clouds to the background in Photoshop to help the effect.
The plot was rendered in FractalWorks, a high performance fractal renderer for Macintoshes. There is a link at the top of this gallery where you can download a fully featured version to try yourself.
