Description

Maybe I should have ran the "Eagle Series" all in a row, but Noooo, I just HAD to throw some trains & Trucks in the mix. lol I thought I'd show you the picture I got of the two 'lovebirds' -- along with their MASSIVE nest. The first time I saw this nest, one of the Eagles was sitting inside of the nest -- that head just sticking out, was so cute. lol Anyway, have a great Monday ... make it a good one. .. and thank you for your time & comments. Hugs, Shari

Great shot Shari, anytime you can show one of these beautiful birds (let alone two), it is worth it IMO... Have a great day yourself! :)

There is a hawk family that has lived in the same place in a forked dead tree in the desert outside of Phoenix for at least 10 years. When I go there, I park a ways back and watch. I love seeing the daily activity. And in the right time of year, I can see the chicks emerge for the first time. This is one of those awesome scenes. Excellent shot.

Houston, the Eagle has landed... Wow, what a huge nest up there in the tree, Sharilyn! Or are those just tiny birds. In any case, nice capture of the magnificent raptors. I still can't get over the idea I've had these many years that eagles nested only in the craggy alcoves on the sides of mountains.

It is great to see some of the environment in which they live, included in the composition. I hope they raise their chicks successfully.
