A recurring character from the Twilight Blades, a D&D Forgotten Realms campaign set in Aglarond. “The Sunglade snapped into focus around them, and even the night sky, lit only by the stars and moons, seem bright after the countless days they had been trapped underground. “We’ve kept our bargain,” Talice announced. “We brought you back to the surface… now leave these woods, and Aglarond!” Triel and her companions eyed the half-elven druid with scorn as they all moved from the ancient stone circle. While the others dropped to the ground at the edge of the glade to rest, the drow monk continued on into the woods. Motioning for the others to stay, Courynn followed her, and found her waiting a few dozen yards away. “Talice is right,” Courynn said quietly as he approached her. “Your are drow… and therefore enemies of Aglarond. It is our duty to see gone from this land.” Triel smiled at the young ranger. “What would you have us do?” she asked coyly. “Our path home is through the Underdark… but you will not allow us that route.” “The Wizard’s Reach is only a day’s walk south,” Courynn replied, “and Tilbrand is a day further on. We will see you to the forest’s edge… and if I see again thereafter, I must treat you as my enemy.” Triel glided closer to comely human, and gently laid her hand on his chest, “So, until then, there is peace between us?” “Yes,” Courynn replied hoarsely. He could nearly taste the sensuality she exuded. “Good,” Triel cooed. “Then I hope we will have the opportunity for there to be nothing else between us…”” A monk of the Blackened Fist order native to Fyvrek’Zek of Undrek’Thoz beneath the Thay Mount, Triel serves Lolth, her matron and the order. Loyal, disciplined and true to her word in decidedly un-drow fashion, she is still as cruel as she is beautiful. Viewing the petty politics and in-fighting amongst the ruling Houses as little more then amusing, Triel waits for the day the Blackened Fist rises up to seize control of Undrek’Thoz. Leading ventures into the Yuirwood to discover the secrets of what lies beneath the Sunglade, Triel has come into conflict with the Twilight Blades several times, and even forged a short lived alliance with the heroes to escape the mysterious underground complex. However, their future meetings are not likely to be any less adversarial. My first (successful) image with V4! Yes...
