Hi! I'm Jeff, but most people around here know me as wheatpenny. (when I first started collecting coins back in the mid-70s, I used to order bulk lots of assorted US coins, and they were always overloaded with wheat pennies, and so before too long I accumulated several thousand of them). I'm the Senior Moderator here at Renderosity. I use Paint Shop Pro, Poser, Daz Studio, Shade, Bryce, Carrara, and a few others. I'm 61 and I live in York, Pennsylvania with my wife and 2 kids Cindy, and Jeff Jr - ages 37 and 34. I'm originally from California, but I left there in 1983 when I became a hobo, and met my wife quite by chance in 1984 when I stopped here (Pennsylvania) to spend the winter. I'm a dual US/Australian citizen. I speak English Spanish, German, and Esperanto and can read French, Portuguese, Russian, Ancient Greek, Anglo-Saxon, and Latin. I completed my PhD in Linguistics in 2007. I also have a BA in Spanish and an MA in Modern Languages. After several years of wandering thru various religions I have settled on Wicca.

Excellent job and well composed. I am a huge fan of trains and train scenes. Reminds me of the song "Box Car Willy".

Another good railroad image. This technique for boarding the train looks a little safer than the previous post. Thanks for sharing.

Jumping on a boxcar or emerging from a turnip shaped manhole trunk are men's deeds. The hobo girls hung out at truck stops. After 1959 there was no nunnery for the wealthy extras.

Wow - great pic. I also started reading one of your excerpts. A very interesting story about your travelling life.
