Personal entry Captain Melody Eukas, ACM Dragonflame Time stamp 35726.237 19:00 HRS(SHIP) I know I said I was not going to do this anymore but the situation has changed and I feel like doing this again. I have been in command of the flame for a few months with a good crew. I’m about 48 hours away from core and I picked up my main passenger, Cinnamon Keane and her bassist Dennon. There have been a lot of changes in my life that has made me decide I wanted to live more than I wanted to end function. The most important one is Gunney. He has stuck with me thru all of this supported me in everything. He makes me feel warm and safe even thought he looks and acts hard as stone. It gets harder everyday to imagine him not in my existence. He gives me a courage I was not aware I had or could use. Though he is aware I am not a real human female he seems committed to me. Several Jumps ago the ship got a rush delivery for Gunney from terra. It was from his family, It was a Shawnee necklace that is far older than even me. Made by his ancestors it was meant for the wives of the family head. Every human female Shawnee that wore it was the wife of that family. So what does he do? He gives it to me to wear. It’s beautiful and a very important piece of his culture. How he managed to explain that to his family I don’t know. Personally I don’t think he fully understands what it means. But I do. He makes me wish I were a human. Then I could give him what every other human female have given their males… Immortality…
