Description

A further exploration of the possibilities using the terrain editor. The muddy shoreline is a custom terrain, duplicated and the water painted in at a higher elevation. The land was removed, leaving the water area, which I moulded with the brush set to elevation and repeatedly carved and built up to create the ripples. The original terrain was duplicated again, added to and rendered in a vegetation setting. The seaweed are lattice terrains,hand-drawn.The remnant of fishing net is also a hand-drawn lattice. The shells are by Stephen Ray from Daz3d.Thanks for viewing and all your previous comments.

Wow, impressive work. You have a great ability to do a lot of things from scarce resources. The materials are just great here and your modelling is spot on. Great job.

That's really nice work. I've never been able to get good flowing water in Bryce, and you've got it looking fantastic!

Wow Neil... That rock in the foreground! Friggen incredible!! Looks real!!! The water and seaweed! Looks great, very impressive! The blue ball... really... Not doing it for me man... I think its too shiny! Not sure, seems out of place! Still looks ok I guess. Over all, great render! Jake

Thanks for the comments Jake...the blue ball is actually a glass weight used by fishing trawlers to keep their nets afloat...tried to cut back on shiny-ness,but you can only do so much before it doesn't look like glass!Great to hear from you!
