Description

Thank you for being so patient while I posted my vacation pictures! :) I know it seems like I was gone three weeks, but it was really only three days. I left on May 15th and came back May 18th. I took 991 pictures while I was gone, and have posted over 40 of them! There are more, of course, but they'll keep. The trip back was beautiful. It was a clear day, and I had fun taking pictures of the mountains on the way home. Quite often, flying into Seattle, all you see is Mount Rainier sticking up through a sea of clouds, so this was a nice treat! I hope you've enjoyed our trip to Central Oregon. Please make sure your seatbelts are fastened and that your seats are locked in the upright position. Thank you for flying Air Tara! :) .......... Full view is best!

Wow, this is another gorgeous set, Tara. I'm glad you had a rare clear day for the flight home. I don't think anyone has needed to be patient; perhaps a better description would be "waiting in anticipation to see what you would show us next." I know I've certainly enjoyed your vacation pics. It's always nice to see a place you know through someone else's eyes. A bit of trivia for you: in the lower right of the Hood picture you can see the outwash from the White River. Every few years, it seems, nature gathers her strength and destroys the road right there, as she did in 06. And farther around on Hood in a counterclockwise direction, you can see a little bump directly under Mt Adams. That's Cooper Spur, where I hike every summer. It doesn't look nearly as intimidating from this angle. LOL!

I always love the view flying up the west coast, for this very reason! Wonderful captures here, I get to see that view without the nervousness of flying and the need for sedatives!

I have often thought about going to Seattle but so far its all thought and nothing more. These shots are very convincing... I'll have to start saving pennies and make the trip some time soon.

I echo all the above, apart from Beachzz that is, cause I won't be doing it in 6 days, all together now Awwwww!. I have enjoyed our vacation though, even if it was only three days, we managed to pack a fortnight into it. Superb set here Tara, I am envious as I have never flown, so I have never seen images like this for myself, but I have enjoyed looking at them through your lens. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!! Can't wait to see Marilyns now.

WEll it was nice of them to clean the windows for your trip back. Wonderful shots of the mountains. I've taken to flying into Seattle at night so it's nice to see it in all its glory in the day. A beautiful city.
