Description
Most people show their submarines underwater, however, once I had seen the German film 'Das Boot' I decided to have a go at putting one on the surface. I chose monochrome instead of colour simply because the North Atlantic is such a cold and cheerless place.

I Think you make the Right Choice with monochrome...It is fantastic...the waves..the sub...Really a great job.

I think how you did it works very well; although, I wonder if it might have been even better if you'd have had some turbulence in the sky.

I agree; How did you do the waves? Might be a tutorial there. Excellent work!

They got most of their kills with the deck gun and were formidable against air attack. Submerged was for entering harbors and slipping throuugh narrow passages between bodies of water. They made good speed with their diesels and could make pursuit attacks on merships.
