Description

A divergence from my space-scenes, but I couldn't resist this one. Back on Memorial-Day Weekend I visited my former housemates, and we played in the backyard a bit. This was my idea of enhancing their gardens. These rocks are all about the size of a gallon of milk, and weigh about that much. I didn't use anything to keep them there, just patience, careful balancing, and gravity. Thanks for taking a look!

That is just wonderful! Very creative! I am seeing a face looking to the right. Kinda like an alien. The clarity and lighting are fantastic looking! What did your friends think?

Ya know, I can see you hiring out to do this in ppls gardens... course no guarantees as to how long they will remain balanced...that is part of the draw...no strings attached!!! Great shot, love it in full size~ =)

This is absolutely wonderful! Great creativity, reminds me of the statues of Easter Island, very kewl!!! I realize this is not your newest image but it caught my eye and I had to look. Thanks for sharing this, you've inspired me to do something of interest in my back yard! Thanks also for your comment on Summer Snow, I lived in Flint, Michigan years ago and I remember a tornado that ripped thru there, with the most damage done in Fenton. The weather there did seem somewhat controlled compared to here (New York)tho what bypasses you comes our way, lol!

Love this shot, and you did an amazing job getting that top rock balanced on the one below! We've done the same out at the Hollow (a little bit of paradise we have out in the country) to mark where tree stumps are. We call it our rock garden, LOL!

Wow, excellent shot! How on earth did you manage this and how long did it take you? Issemissen is right, you probably do have tons of patience. Well done. :)
