One can't concern oneself too much with all the abuse such a treasure suffered on it's way to being in this condition and parked here. One is just happy for the final result. That result lives as a price now. As long as the owner has a way to transfer it to someone wealthy enough to care for it, it's future is assured. My eye jumped immediately to the very familiar 46-48 passenger car tail lights.
