Description

Following the end of Humanity's First Interstellar War several new worlds were opened up for settlement. This world was a rarity: A place that supported life. Very primitive life, to be sure, but life never-the-less. Given the low amount of water on this planet, and the very primitive life on it, large-scale terraforming seems probable. Given that this planet was found by the same family that invented the means of reaching the stars made it seem even more remarkable, and thus brought a great deal of much needed hope to all of us. --------- Another link in my story begun on the following post: "Flying Dutchman" http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1603443 The ships were all modeled in Bryce5 or 6, the planet and starscape were all done in Photoshop, as was the compositing and postwork. Thanks for taking a look, and comments are as always welcome.

I love the big ship design here. The simple shapes the went into a much more complex and unsimple form!
