Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

My loft and shed are full of 'In case I need it' thats the phrase I use when the wife says what do you want that for the answer is 'In case', she's got used to me after twenty odd years of it. One of these days it just might be handy having it around. As you have already said its garden art, it adds something! I don't know what but something.Lol. Love your colour scheme here, now if it really looked like that it would be a conversation piece and worth a few dollars to boot. Superb postwork Marilyn, I love it. Bravo!!!!!

Stellar postwork used on this family keepsake, Marilyn! Other than that, I really can't think of anything clever to say that would befit this down home scene.

ok, honestly, the postwork nearly blinded me and I thought at first it was an acordian so I think maybe its a bit heavy. On the other hand, its a festive assault on the eyes. LOL

If you pull off the heads. Those bits there on top of each side with the rocker arms on them, underneath there's eight holes. Pull the pistons out of thise and it will be a perfect eight holed flowerpot holder!

He would have to soak the block in an Acid Vat to prepare it for rebuilding, if it's any good!!! But I know what he means!!!
