Description
Sherwood Forester entering Ramsbottom. The Man on the crossing is about to receive a single line tablet from the driver/fireman. This is a safety measure; only one train at a time is allowed onto a single section of track (obviously)and the crew have to be in possession of a tablet to be allowed on . It's passed to the Signalman on reaching the end, who then gives it to the next train going up.

Wonderful capture, It's remarkable how only one looks like he's taking a shot of this?, and yet if it had been derailed, there would have been a throng all there with thier cell phones aloft, what a crazy world!

Good spot on top of the footbridge, I took quite a few from there myself, I will have to check and see if I have the war train coming into the station, there was one pulling a tank and a rocket firing machine of some sort. They had adverts all over them so I had to clone them out, you could buy a tank or just rent one. Lol. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!
