This poppy ( I think its a poppy ) was blowing westward in the wind thanks for commenting on my Field of Flowers .I always appreciate your comments I would just like to say to all of you that knew Valerie Doucom that Im very sorry that you lost a great friend and artist .. I didnt know her but did see her work .. I've seen all your lovely tributes to her

I love this! It looks like me when I'm running to the Capitol (as required in my job) when the winds are swooping in on us from the surrounding mountains! Just being pushed along by the wind with my skirt blown up over my head and still trying to look dignified and lady-like as I frantically grab and pull it down again, only to have it flap up in my face again moments later!

Fabulous clear shot, being as it was windy, and that red is wonderful. Yes it has been such a shock about Valerie Ducom, she has e-mailed me briefly from time to time and she was definitely an amazing artist, but I didn't know her personally, her passing is too premature, she will be a sad loss. Take care Lucinda, hugs Jane xx
