Looks almost like the jays we have here, only in reverse -- ours have black heads and bright blue bodies (Steller's Jays). I have no idea what this might be -- but he's quite lovely!

I agree that it appears to be a grackle. They make a racket but they are very lovely as you can see. Boysterous and bullies like Jays. Wonderful capture.

What an astonishing bird! Most beautiful royal blue, and it's markings are intriguing and most beautiful! An excellent capture as well, excellent colours and such a clear image and depiction! Incredible photography!
