I spotted this Mountain Sheep crossing a ridge with the Continental Divide in the background. This photo was taken from near the parking area at the top of Mount Evans. This is the highest paved road in the world. The parking lot is at 14,240 ft. Taken today, June 13th, 2008. Please view full size.

These animals are just amazing. On this very same road a sheep walked up to our car and caused quite a traffic jam! I'd forgotten how beautiful the Rockies are...wow they take my breath away.
