Description

Three weeks ago a ship out of our past came through here, bearing what they claimed was a message of hope. Rumors were across the spectrum of possibilities, of course. But this group has brought us something more solid than the unyielding space outside our hull: A world, that was even now being transformed into a place humanity could live on. We'd only recently launched such a program of our own, a pair of stations attached to great mirrors. When they were in position they would increase the sunlight on this cold and dry world. Many of these stations will eventually be in place, and together with several captured comets, we might eventually have a planet we could live on without protection. But now there was a world that had been under such a program for nearly a century, and was even now moving closer to livable. And we were eager to begin building that future home for life. -------------- Still playing with ship models you've seen before, but focused more on my story than the models. The new models are the stations, which will see more activity in this story in the future. Ships built and rendered in Bryce, Planet and starscape in Photoshop. Compositing and Postwork all done in Photoshop. Thanks for taking a look, and have a great weekend!
