Description

This wild flower is quite striking. It is reputed to stop bleeding and help the healing process hence it's common name. It is a common plant of shady hedgerows, but I have only seen it growing in one spot locally.

I haven't seen this wildflower and I have to agree its gorgeous. I love salvias of all sorts and this is one of the prettier flower shapes in that family. Wonderful shot.
