Description

Breaking through the upper atmosphere,a Tyvonian Class A fighter(affectionately called a "Hammerhead")encounters extreme weather patterns on it's descent to the surface of Ganges Prime.Violent wind gusts,intense downdrafts and arcing lightning strikes make the descent hell for the crew,their skill of little consequence in comparison to the brute force of the planet's natural forces. Bryce 6.1...postwork involves the lightning,contrails and signature.Ship is a new model created from bryce primitives and one shape from Spacebones.Main body texture is a metal plate from angelboiii(www.filterforge.com)combined with a customized preset texture.Clouds are spheres rendered in customized atmospheric textures.Thanks for viewing and all your previous comments!

Good work Neil I enjoy the feel of distance in the image given from the lightning in the top right corner, well captured. Great ship model, hammerhead, well suited! The only thing I HATE about this image, is the one string of lightning directly in front of the ship, that looks like a squiggly line hand drawn in... Sorry for the brutal honesty, but I feel like your daughter just jumped onto the computer and added a line in while you were in the bathroom and you didn't notice! haha Other than that... Well done, keep up the good work Jake

I tend to agree with the previous comment regarding the one string of lightning. But this is still a really fine image. The sky is awesome, the modelling excellent, the composition and POV perfect, as usual. A really fine work.
