Description

Sculpted in ZBrush, also took a tutorial covering matcaps (materials) to tweak myself a somewhat more convincing bronze material - then "dirtied" it up a little with poly painting. This is really a study for me in trying to learn the software as well as the material techniques and lighting - I will say this - the lighting in ZBrush is..."quirky".

That's a fine bit of sculpturing and the mat work is excellent, it's like looking in a mirror at my midsection for me ;,)

Superb looking Bronze mats!!....as a newbie to ZB I also find the lighting a bit difficult to get my head around....your lighting looks good in this shot!

friends light settings does not work with all materials. use basic materials for interactive lighting. U can set a hot key for interactive light. First Preferances.>custom UI > enable customise [The ZBrush interface can be fully customized and saved for later sessions. To drag any interfaceoption and dock it elsewhere in the UI, select Preferences →Custom UI →Enable Customize. Now when you hold down Ctrl and click and drag a button from any menu to another part of the interface, you can dock it there for easy access. To save your custom UI for later use, press Ctrl+Shift+Ior select Preferences →Config →Store Config. If at any time you want to restore the default interface, select Preferences →Restore Standard UI.] Then Zplugin > interacive light > cntrl click> a meesage appears on tool bar> now set any two cobination keys as hot key ; for eg Alt Q
