Description
Yes - I do this too, in fact I was mentored in traditional art from a very young age by an Artist friend of the family. This is a pencil portrait of a friend of mine from another art site...just thought I would share it.
I always have had a devil of a time with hair - and this was my first pencil portrait in 12 years (my ex-wife made me give it up because she thought it was a "waste of time").
The expression that Natalia had on her face - especially her lips was.... indescribable lol.

Fine drawing!!! A most excellent way to "waste your time". My other half has a similar attitude when I paint or draw figures or portaits she says why don't you do something "we" all like. She would prefer pictures of flowers and the like but if I take photographs of landscapes she complains that there are no people in them, such is life!!
