Description
Spent the past weekend in the Ozark Mountains. Some places were familiar return visits; others new frontiers.
This is the White River, deep in the heart of the Ozarks. We got there right at dusk, and when crossing the river noticed how waves of fog were beginning to come in upstream from around the bend.
So after a quick stop and risking our lives on a bridge with no walk way, we got some interesting pictures.
This is a 2 second exposure, 100 ISO, 85mm lens. The orange color is the reflection from the last remnants of the sunset.
Thanks for viewing!

What an appropriate name for the river. It certainly is white and you captured the rising fog perfectly. A great contrast between the river and the lush green foliage. Beautiful shot, Marshall.

This is what I call a 'shiver shot' - if a shot appeals to me on a deep level, I get a kind of shiver go through me (not the kind you get at horror movies!). I got that with this shot - I think because of that beautiful echo of fading sun. Fantastic image.
