Hi, I'm Marilyn.  I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile.  It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here.  I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends.  Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time.  Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!!  Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet.  You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long.  Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

That's an angle you don't often see of that bridge! Very nice photo, you did a great job.

excellent image Marylin, a different angle to see this bridge for me !!

You lucky fish!!! What an amazing shot!! I flew south yesterday for work and our pilot took us all the way up to 39000 ft to avoid turbulance... Coming down for landing, my poor ears gave me such uphill!!!!

Crikey Marilyn, the things you do just to get all the bridge in one shot, you could have stayed on the ground and took several and stitched them together. Roflmao. As long as you arrive at your destination safe and in one piece, it doesn't matter if you fly South to go North. Is that what they call a jet stream? lol. Excellent capture and quite a unique angle I would say. Bravo!!!!!

Isn't it true that the Golden Gate Bridge looks good from any angle? This is a very special capture. Love it. One of these days, on your way through here, you should let me know and I can meet you at a freeway cafe for lunch or breakfast of dinner or just a cup of coffee or maybe coffee and pie or whatever...(no need to type out the entire menu here, huh?) LOL
MrsRatbag
It doesn't look very golden from this height, does it? What a great shot, though! Seems like every time I fly I get the window that's scratched or worse. You seem to get lucky with yours!

Gorgeous capture, Marilyn and one not often seen of this bridge. Only seen it a few times, but always from the ground. Excellent shot and the lighting was just right!
