Description

I have some more flowers but I at this coffee shop and know no one to ask how to spell cubcumber or jalipenos peppers. that the best I can spell them lol any way I got a change to go to Lake Martin and I put on the 2x on the 500MM mirror lens i bought at a pawn shop. I know birds was way out there and the 250 mm zoom with the 2x will not take good photos of them for they was too far. So i wish to see what this mirror len will do and with the 2x on it. I did see some birds and i do have some shots of them but I was driveing and saw these wild ducklings swimming so I did not have time to get out the truck and set up the tripod so I turn off the engin and rolled up my window a little and aimed the camera at them resting the camera on top of the window. lol they was in the shadows and My len is a f8 at all times and the 2x put the f- stop down 2 more so that f-10 in low lighting. I just guess at the focus for I could just see them[not to god at that] and click my camera . I lost them then. They swam into some brush and was gone. So all I had of them is one shot. I happy it came out this good. I did not blow it up at all. the line of duckling was about 20 to 25 yards out in the water and in the shadows of trees and brush. That lens is not a zoom lens it set at 500MM so it bring them up close. some one wonder how I LEARN all this stuff about camwera. i just get soe thing and put it on the camera and go takeing photos with it. I do read a little and just last week i did a sreach on youtube on my type of camera and they show some films people made to show how you use it. I learn some stuff that way last week I did not know . some button that can over or under expose the image. may come in handy with bright sunlight or in low lighting. I know i read about some lens I have like the 90mm micro len that people use them in takeing photos of people faces. I like how the landscapes come out with it. I going to show the diff one day soon on that. Got a lot of ideas and they just rolling out my head lol[no time to do them "oh my" thanks for looking and comments . best wishes to all.

Perhaps a tad dark and not quite in focus. The teleconverters do make it a bit harder as you lose light and sometimes it has a hard time focusing. But you are doing just what you need to... get out and practice. :)

With the low lighting and the special lens,it almost looks like something seen through night vision goggles.Fine work.
