OR~~""People Who Live In Glass Houses Shouldn't Throw Rocks!!! Couldn't help myself, that's what came to mind as I looked at the Seattle skyline the other day. Guess it's true of any big city with skyscrapers, lots of glass and steel. The tiniest little speck on the outside of one of these windows would drive me crazy (yeah, I AM just a little over the top about certain things!!).

Wow, that is a lot of glass, isn't it? More than a full time job keeping all that clean! Nice capture!

I remember a couple of years ago, during one of those very hot summers with drops in temperatures of up to 40 degrees at night, we had well windowed highrises that were raining glass on people below. The glass could not take the constant fluxuation in temerature extremes and the glass started to pop. Can you imagine what damage could occur???

OMG, mind-blowing to say the least! Where's my bucket and squeegee? A job for life if you don't mind constant repetition. Actually, I wouldn't be so concerned about a speck on the glass as I would on just how would the panes stand up to a Richter scale 7.2 earthquake. Look out inside, outside and below!!! Supremely super clarity, colors, textural patterns and geometry in this shot, Marilyn!

The same thing happened when they first built the bigger and better Hancock building in Boston. The old one was just fine. They had to build covers for the sidewalks for almost a year!
