Description

Here is another photo of the cicada moments after molting. The old skin appears like a monster coming to get the new creature. A truly amazing transformation! Thanks for visiting and for comments! By the way, sorry I was gone for so long. I was traveling through my beloved Costa Rica. I came back with lots of photos which I plan to share with you very soon. Very cool. Those things are not around here in Cal. But I am kind of glad. They freak me out. Great shot, good job at the aperture to get em both in focus! Well done!
