La regla de los caballeros templarios era un código de derecho muy detallado y estricto que había de ser aplicado severamente por el responsable de cada encomienda o convento. Esta regla era secreta, pero se puede seguir su evolución desde su más antigua versión, dictada por el concilio de Troyes (1128), hasta la mas completa , hacia 1257.
En los estatutos jerárquicos, fechados en 1230, contiene lo referente a ceremonias tanto en el aspecto religioso como en el militar.
Cualquier hombre libre podía aspirar al hábito templario si estaba limpio de lepra, epilepsia o enfermedad contagiosa y no había sido expulsado de otra orden monástica.

The rule of the Knights Templar was a very detailed code of law and be strict to be applied harshly by the person responsible for each entrusts or convent. This rule was secret, but can continue its evolution since its earliest version, issued by the council of Troyes (1128), until the most complete, towards 1257.

I worked in a large home that was medieval style decoration and there was an actual chain link armor that was left in the house.I picked it up and it was so heavy.hard to imagine soldiers wearing it.excellent capture
