Description
Blasted from Earth's orbit after a nuclear accident, the Moon hurtles through space, home to the staff of Moonbase Alpha, trapped on the runaway moon until it settles into orbit around a suitable planet.
Space 1999 - looked good, but hurt your head if you tried to think about it too much.
Eagle was downloaded YEARS ago from somewhere or other, as was the landing pad.
Alien planet it Venus from NASA.

Cue the kettle drum intro for that crazy rock theme. Air guitars at the ready!

"Space 1999 - looked good, but hurt your head if you tried to think about it too much." That sums it up very well :) The show started out with a lot of promise, in the first season, but then fell into the dreaded "Second Season Silliness" and that was that. The show did give us one of the best fictional spacecraft designs, the Eagle. The design looked like it could really work!
