Hello!
Maybe some of you remember, that I once promised that I would go and take some shots of a fantastic House very near the Museum and the Strange Door, I once posted. Actually this house is exactly in the opposite side of the road, but I dont think they have anything to do with each other. The mystic door is a part of a stone fence.
Have a closer look at the house. It pays.

an incredible beauty. it would be an honor to live their, almost like being a guardian of a special place. my eyes are drawn to just that, the guardian in the niche on the chimney in the lower photo. wonderful captures.

The detail is stunning, helle, from the roofs to the bricks to the leaves of the trees & bushes around it. I agree with the comments above...You give us photographs of glimmer & bristling lights. And yes, these structures are beautiful. You've captured the feel of a Manor, and it's very Northern European. And thank you for giving us the entryway as well as the house. Zann is right, the guardian in the chimney is but one wonderful detail. I must look through your galleries again (which I've been meaning to do more of, anyway). I want to see more of your architectural photography. Fine work as always. PS—the weather here is warm and a little humid; and since it's 3 in the morning, it's DARK. (End of weather report!
