Description

How else are we to survive the ecological devastation of the planet...? This image has been percolating for ages - I rendered the canyon weeks ago, but I needed to complete the Ecodome image before this one came together. Ecodome from C3D. Vue6 Pro Studio, signature in PSP. Thanks for looking and for all your previous comments and favourites. Craig.

Very nice work. Looks great. Sometimes I think the ecodome idea for future survival is just another sign of mankind's total arrogance, overconfidence and procrastination.

It is ironic that mother nature can still look beautiful, even after we humans have finished messing her up and leaving her desolate. However, just because she is still beautiful, doesn't mean she will allow us to live with her anymore. We have proven we can't live in harmony with her, so this could very well be the end result... if we are lucky!! This is a great piece Craig!

Very cool - a stunning image. FWIW I believe that most folk don't realise exactly how fast and how capable human technology is becoming. Climate change mitigation will be the emerging industry of the next hundred years. Since the dawn of agriculture mankind has been turning wilderness into gardens - what we really need is a unified vision for Earths future.
