Description

The Katy Trail is a a bicycling trail in Missouri which was made in part out of an old railroad track, i.e., gravel trails running down past several small towns, many of which still have little terminal signs. Rocheport is one of these towns, a quaint little place of antique shops and old restaurants with a population of probably 250, the main industry being the tourist trade of riders coming through. This picture I thought best showed the mood and feeling there, a sleepy place living on the memories of another era.
