Description

This is for Sig and all my other friends in the US Southwest, who are enduring some very hot weather these days. Saturday's high in Phoenix was 115 F, way too hot for me. Here in western Oregon we didn't quite get to 75 F today (Sunday) This was taken 2/2/08 at Multnomah Falls. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Awesome shot and that should help them cool down a little looking at that frigid image ...

Oooooooohh. Very slushy and wet. I seem to remember you saying it was hovering right at about 32 degrees that day. Wonderful capture of the bridge and the lower falls, and I can just make out the upper falls through the snow. Nice and chilly!

Thanks Dennis and welcome back. I think I will print this and look at it while I am inside the house under the ceiling fan and the air conditioner blasting away. But you know it is still a dry heat. This feels like in front of an oven. Once the humidity increase it will become more uncomfortable. Sig...

Truly beautiful shot, Dennis. Too bad you can't send some of that to Arizona and Nevada. A lovely view, indeed!

How thoughtful to send a snow picture to those that need to cool down a bit, well, I guess cool down a lot. This is sure a pretty picture to send to them.

Excellent shot. Indeed it does help me remember that there are places that still get cold. LA's been in the 100s for a couple days too :(, and I work outside. I love winter. Snow, and hot chocolate, and bundled up everywhere you go... can't wait for another real winter. Not this sissy LA winter. Anyway, beautiful snow post. and thanks for sharing.

Wow I would love to see it like this. Maybe some day. This is wonderful Dennis. We've been in the mid fifties. I would like it to be a little warmer but not 115.

We haven't gotten to 115, but we did get up to 102. This is so lovely. Course, if I were actually there, I'd probably be hollering for warmer weather. We always want what we know we can't have.
