Description

The large image is one wing of the Experience Music Project building at the Seattle Center. Top right: Marilyn and I in the EMP gift shop, looking up at the ceiling. Lower right: The answer to the question "how did you come to look up at the ceiling?" That big, shiny chrome thing hanging down from the roof sort of gets your attention! (Jeff asked the other day when Marilyn posted a shot taken in the gift shop. Center bottom: The purple metal wall throws light onto every surface around. It shows up particularly well in the shadows. Bottom left: Marilyn and I standing in front of that huge purple metal wall. (Check out Marilyn doing rabbit ears above my head! Sheesh! You just can't take her anywhere. She'll tell you that was MY idea, but I ask you: who do you think is sillier?) Full view - it's a nice big image, and you'll get more detail.

Everytime we are up by there I always say we should go in but we never do lol. Now you make me want to go. This is a great collage of shots that really show it off. I'm hoping to get up around there in September to visit the butterfly house maybe then lol.

Great Scott, and then some....what has man unleashed upon the world now? That is the weirdest structure, with its mangled cookie cutter configuration, I ever did lay eyes on! It kind of looks like a hot air balloon in a state of collapse. Wish I was hep and chic enough to say "cool and rad, man," but this is too much of a stretch for me. Anyway, shock aside, a very interesting array of photos on display here. I can just about detect Marilyn, with her silly rabbit ears gesture, in one of the shots.
