Description

Marilyn was here a week ago, as most of you know, and we had a wonderful time. She stayed for six days. We were both a little concerned about spending so much time together since we'd never actually met in person, but we were quite compatible. I'm sure we'll do it again! At the end of her trip, Marilyn left me this beautiful sun star plant. I'd never seen one before. Isn't is gorgeous? Of course I HAD to take a few pictures of it sitting in the window! (My favorite place for backlit images.) Thank you, Marilyn! :)

Utterly fabulous macro of the fabulous Sun Star plant, yet another species of flora I never heard of before. Love the back lighting, buds and stamens on this beauty, Tara! That was very nice of Marilyn to give to you, no doubt in appreciation of your hospitality, and, per chance, tolerance.
