Description
As requested I have reloaded this in a larger size. I was still learning the max. sizes as I am new to this site.
As said before, I always try and do something for Easter. Normally I focus on easter Sunday. As the Reserection ties it all up.
This year I thought I would give Good Friday a try and after a lot of thought and trying varoiuse designs. This is the one I chose.
The Fractal largely consists of a white area. Notice it is in the shape of A 'Fish" Within the fish is the Crusifixion.
I am trying to suggest in the image that the fish, is a symble of the early Christaian who used this symble secretivly to avoide persicuton. It is white, another symbol of the 'Almighty" Creator, etc.. and in the midddle you have this horrid scene.
However the inner image suggest something quite 'horrid' at that time it is being 'overseen' if you like by the infinite in the symbol of the white fish. The 'Creator' if you like.
Even though the act being carried out is horrid, it is in hand by the "Creator/Almighty' and as theology would have it ..Had to come to pass for the Redemtion of man kind. In the Christain faith.
I felt maybe I did not do this situation justice, though what would.?
Please remember it is an Artist representaton of an event in history.
It is not ment as a religouse statement, nor it is not inteneded to offend any faith.
it is purely a work of 'modren art" utilising many components at hand to myself.
Shalom...

I think it's wonderful. You've portrayed His amazing sacrifice for our sins with creative sensitivity and great beauty. Powerful work, and thank you.
