Description

Bomaw's Paul McPherson
Well it's been a while since I've done a character from Bomaw, and I'd forgotten that I'd done Paul some weeks ago. Who is Paul? Well, he's 18 years old, son of Jake McPherson, you've seen him in a few of my renders with Vivian. Anyway, this is about Paul. He's a young, modern day Philanthropist with his mind on saving the world, or better yet, uniting the world. He's a young man using all of his youthful strength and energies to helping those less fortunate than himself. Because of his kind and soft heart, this brings his father some concerns for those who might seek to take advantage of him. Undaunted, Paul surges onward - as he visits Chicago along with his father, staying with Vivian. Just as his father is a builder and jack of all trades, this training and skill was also passed onto him and while helping a neighbor of Vivian's, an older man, in his 70's who needs his roof repaired with no financial means to do so, Paul was quick to gather the needed materials, recycling them to assist the older man. So proud of the work done for him, he spread the word and thus, a single mother of two also revealed a need to have things done in her home, but with little to nothing to pay him. Paul made it clear, no payment was necessary! Eying the youth, the single mother, with a smile and thoughts and ways she could repay him, began to lay the foundation... To be continued... *wink* ://Credits\: Michael base, morphs @ Daz3d Boyd ~Soho Boy ~ for M3 @ Art Collabstore Ysaris Hair by AprilYSH @ Daz3d Bomaw online drama series by Me, M. This is such a great image Mercedes, you can literally feel the kindness from Paul. Your words really flesh him out as a wonderful person and someone to be looked up to.

Excellent work on creating a very believable young man using M3 - great morph, great texture, excellently presented.

This is another one of those "I had this guy in my last class I taught" type pictures. Well done, very realistic.

Very good picture, special praise for the focal depth (or whatever the technical term). Good story too, but I'm not in a reading mood. Remarks: 1) I wonder if you could have compensated the dimples in Paul's cheeks to look less like screwdriver scars (unless it's a characteristic you intended or want to keep! Some characters are too perfect...). It's in the mesh, I guess. 2) I wonder if you could create more of a wet reflection for the inner eye corners and wet reflection with transparency for the saliva. Do keep it up! :-)

I like his eyes and goatee. :) He seems like a very open person befitting an optimistic philanthropist. Nice characterization. You like those blurred background rooms, don't you? I challenge you to actually put them in the room doing something, like at a desk with lots of papers on it, computer screen, Greenpeace books, posters on the wall that say he's a philanthropist who's Johnny-on-the-spot; have him talkng on the phone while typing on his keyboard like he's a busy, busy man, and then have him look at the camera the same way you have here, with that same smile like he can handle all this, like he enjoys this, totally. That would give me a better idea of who he really is. That's your next assignment. Ha!
