Description

Hello! This little Bridge is builded in 1786 and eased the way for the people who had to move through the old "road" with their cattle to marked places or down south for selling their products. The Bridge is one of the best preserved Stone Girder Bridges in Denmark. Thanks for stoping by and for your kind comments to MOOO yesterday ;-) Have a wonderful day. It seems that the stormy weather is over and am I glad about that. :) It is promised that it will be around 21 celcius = about 70 Farenheit with changing light Clouds today. Very fine with me.

it blows my mind to think of the age of that bridge. this is a wonderful capture of timelessness in time.

WOOOW the age of this bridge is wild. Australia had started only 16 years before this bridge was built. WOOOOOOW ! Great photo.

What a lovely little bridge! It certainly does the trick, and it seems to have held up quite well all these years. (222 years, actually! That's a LONG time.)

this shot is special for several reasons: first you've captured the age of the stone (mold, pieces of stone fallen off), and the mold and fungus growing across the wood. Very rustic. Second, the dark hidden cavern underneath: This is the kind of bridge that seems like it was abandoned by age (and that's a very nice feeling for a bridge). Third, the old dried grass. And fourth, the full sweeping clouds. You even got some detail in the distant grass. A very peaceful landscape with real dignity. Another bridge from you that is very alive and seems happy to be sitting in this quiet place, communing privately with the elements.
