Description

This dedication is for a long time friend of mine Flavio Kern, or best known here as (flaviok) in the community. Flavio is married to Marcia Gomes and they have five wonderful children who must be so proud. Flavio is one of the most talented men you will ever meet and does superb work in Poser, Vue and Carara. Even more impressive is that he is a master poet and has had six books of poetry published. Flavio has always given me great support and is someone I am so proud to call my friend. This is a wonderful story he shared with me of a boy who was his best friend ever. Hope you enjoy, Dave Friends Forever (for flaviok): As a young boy Flavio's best friend in the whole world was a young boy his age named Saci. They spent all of their time together and became very close. Being from different races the boys would often have to defend each other from some bad people but this made them even closer. One day Flavio heard terrible news that his Father was being transferred and they would have to move. He pleaded with his parents to stay but it was no use. As the time arrived to move Flavio and Saci had a idea of how they could stay together. As the parents were loading the truck for the move Flavio helped Saci to hide in a box. Their plan was to smuggle Saci to the city and then his parents would have to let him stay. Sorry to say their plan was discovered and sadly Flavio had to leave Saci behind. What Flavio said that touched me most is that he realizes now that Saci did get to go with him in a way, for he has kept the love for his friend in his heart to this day. Will post credits later, am at work now so have to hurry.

very nice concept.as well as the dedication to flaviok.he must be a special person..althoug i am new to 3d,he alqays looks at my picts and encourages me. great PEOPLE.

What a terrific story about friendship! And even more touching because it was true. Dave, you really have a nack for capturing the innocence of the boys in this little escapade. Flavio in particular looks like he feels very clever in executing this plot. Speaking for myself, I've never packed up a friend for a move. However, I did have to pack up our cats (all three of them) once when my wife and I moved to our new home. That was not such a positive experience filled with laughter and adventure. Much hissing and several scratches later, it took more than a few litres of milk to get them to forgive us.

what a great story! shows how flavio's kind and generous personality was present at an early age ;) your scene is stupendous! must have been something to get all those props posed ;) and there is dad doing all the heavy lifting again with the ever watchful mom directing the show, LOL...i just love how you depicted the kids...their hand signals are precious...one of your best for sure!

Hey Dave just getting caught up...I love all your dedications, but this one has become my favorite! I remember moving away at about the same age and wanting to take my friends with me. The expressions on the boys faces and the feeling of love in this is wonderful. We should just christen you "The Dedicator" in appreciation for your support and the love you have for your subjects :D

There's an old saying that says you can't pick your family but you can pick your friends, this is very meaningful to me and when you find that forever friend no one can ever take their place. We all have friends that come and go but the one who stays in your heart is your forever friend. This image is awesome as always Dave, i love their little faces and mum standing back watching the whole thing, beautifully posed and put together!!
