This dedication is for a long time friend of mine Flavio Kern, or best known here as (flaviok) in the community. Flavio is married to Marcia Gomes and they have five wonderful children who must be so proud. Flavio is one of the most talented men you will ever meet and does superb work in Poser, Vue and Carara. Even more impressive is that he is a master poet and has had six books of poetry published. Flavio has always given me great support and is someone I am so proud to call my friend. This is a wonderful story he shared with me of a boy who was his best friend ever. Hope you enjoy, Dave Friends Forever (for flaviok): As a young boy Flavio's best friend in the whole world was a young boy his age named Saci. They spent all of their time together and became very close. Being from different races the boys would often have to defend each other from some bad people but this made them even closer. One day Flavio heard terrible news that his Father was being transferred and they would have to move. He pleaded with his parents to stay but it was no use. As the time arrived to move Flavio and Saci had a idea of how they could stay together. As the parents were loading the truck for the move Flavio helped Saci to hide in a box. Their plan was to smuggle Saci to the city and then his parents would have to let him stay. Sorry to say their plan was discovered and sadly Flavio had to leave Saci behind. What Flavio said that touched me most is that he realizes now that Saci did get to go with him in a way, for he has kept the love for his friend in his heart to this day.
