Description

I could see the iridescent colors shining on the wispy hairs of this milkweed, both with my eyes and through the viewfinder. But I didn't really think that they would actually be captured and seen later when I took the shot. Taken late afternoon just before sunset one day last week. Thank you very kindly for your views and recent comments. I appreciate it.

Superb capture Maria, we can't see exactly what you saw but the colours can still be seen, I'm sure they were much more pronounced. It is much the same with oil on water. Excellent detail showing the fine translucent strands, gossamer type threads to carry the seeds on the wind to who knows where. Spectacular image. Bravo!!!!!
