Description

Los hermanos comían carne tres veces por semana, los enfermos diariamente, exceptuando los viernes. El capellán bendecía la mesa y dirigía el rezo. Luego se sentaban y comían en silencio, se toleraba que se comunicaran por signos. En algunas ocasiones se usó una escudilla para cada dos hermanos como signo de humildad o con otro significado más profundo y oculto. Nadie podía abandonar la mesa sin permiso expreso del comendador, salvo en caso de hemorragia nasal. Terminada la comida se dirigían a la capilla por parejas para dar gracias a Dios.
