En Jueves Santo, el limosnero de la encomienda escogía a trece pobres para que los hermanos les lavaran los pies. El comendador entregaba a cada pobre dos panes, dos monedas y un par de zapatos. El Viernes Santo los hermanos ayunaban a pan y agua. La orden profesó especial devoción por la Virgen María, a san Jorge y a san Juan. Su reliquia mas preciada fue una Santa Espina que cada Viernes Santo florecía al ser elevada por el capellán. ************************************************* On Holy Thursday, the almoner of the encomienda chosen to thirteen poor so that the brothers were washed your feet. The comendador delivered to every poor two loaves, two currencies and a pair of shoes. On Good Friday the brothers ayunaban to bread and water. The special order professed devotion to the Virgin Mary, Saint George and Saint John.
