...just a bit of fun with a scissortail.
Will catch up in a day or so, have been one huge miserable itch
from -several- dozen chigger bites, couldn't eat, sleep, walk, sit, etc.
Boggles the mind why the good Lord created some creatures!

What a great and funny shot this is. I think the one bird is dancing the Jive! I live in Oregon but was introduced to chiggers on my trips to the midwest when I was a kid. I still remember those nasty little critters and oh my, how they do itch.

Fine POV of the birdies, just whiling the day away with nothing better to do than just sit, meditate and flop around. As for the chiggers, they made life miserable for us GIs when I was stationed down in Ft Polk, Louisiana, many moons ago. Those, and those darn tics.

Maria, wonderful shot! I also don't know what chiggers are, but I bet we have similar thingies here, like mosquitos. God created them to make us feel good in winter, when they're not around, I think :)
