Description

Well - i said there would be another "roadside play-around shot" today. And here it is... This was two flashes setup either side, they were both set to equal output and equidistant from the subject (tho the one on the left is GuideNumber 53 and the one on the right is 58 for those interested) check the exif for more camera details. And infact - here is the setup shot taken by Oli Walker (who had the other flash and Speedlite transmitter i needed to make this shot work): Photobucket Thanks for the comments and favs on the last upload, glad to know i am getting things right ;) Enjoy! Rich PS - catch you in about 3 weeks! (Chrissy - 14th and the French have a national party then for Bastille Day too so i dont think i can avoid getting drunk ;))

This is really fabulous. The feet both off the ground with action and the grass crammed in the tread of the shoe is super. That long shot of the way ahead takes on a bit of the motion as well. Absolutely genius!

OMG Rich!! This is amazing although I don't understand fully about the flash setup, I get the gist of it but I'm in the frame of mind of, I don't care how just so impressed at the drama in this capture!! The crispness and clarity of the runner's legs and feet, the 'feet both off the ground' action and the distance of the long road ahead... so much to be seen, just so much!!! A def fave for me!! Thanks for the date (ooh, that sounds ominous!?!) - you'll be added to my diary now, although I can't send a card to France LOL!! Have a great time anyhow (I'm sure you don't need telling twice!!) Hugs xx

Very interesting and clever! I love the result, especially as I could never be bothered myself, so I enjoy yours even more. ( and I'd probably never get up from the tarmac again!)
