Description

As Denise (Mrs Ratbag) and I walked around the waterfront, I spotted this pier across the water. Having a thing for piers, of course I had to take MANY shots; this was my favorite. It also helped I have this awesome zoom now, my old camera just never could've gotten this close.

I was just thinking with yesterdays shot Marilyn, your old camera wouldn't have got that good a shot in. Love the colours in this, I also have a liking for piers, I like to go full length underneath when the tide is out. A metal detectors heaven in Blackpool. I used to see them digging up the coins that had fallen through the planking. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

I knew a while back there was problems with sewage seeping in the sound but ...lol Lol the colors and textures of the dock. Great capture of the under belly.

Definitely a perfectly peerless portrayal of the pier, young lady! Love the reflectivity of the green salt water, the weathered wood and geometry of the whole scene.
