The things I do for my country. Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by and having a look. Here's hoping everyone is having a very happy Canada Day today, whether you are Canadian... well everyone is a Canadian on this day. My contribution is named after the national salutation prefered by our former Prime Minister, Jean Cretien. Way better than the cut-and-paste quotation prefered by our current PM. And while we are quoting former Prime Ministers: In the words of one of our nations founders and first Prime Minister, Sir John A. MacDonald, "The people would prefer John A. drunk to George Brown sober." Way better than, "I can not tell a lie". MacDonald was often drunk on the job (that being running the country). Which brings us back to partying... This Poser 6 rendering features NewsBabe Rene for V3 by mytilus. Rene would like to point out that there were no automobiles in MacDonald's time as Prime Minister. So please don't drink and drive. We have to say that, it's the law. My thanks once again for the free items used in this rendering: mytilus for NewsBabe Rene For V3. Adorana for the Leonlin Hair for Victoria 3. jtrout for the Riding Hat. teknology3d for the Balloon. Moebius87 for the Dystopia City Skydome. Some pre-production was done with GIMP 2.4 in order to create red maple leaves. Fuchsia has never been an official Canadian colour. Endut! Hoch Heck!

Fantástico, um espirito cívico eleogiavel e admiravel. Eu fico triste pois aqui no Brasil o civismo, amor a patria esta quase abolido, mas fico feliz pelos povos que tem este patriotismo. He may have been drunk, but Sir John A got results dammit! As for Mr. Cretien, I always enjoyed his style as a politician, as well as his ability to handle protesters with a simple choke hold (he could always hold his own). Happy Canada day!!

I'm 3 days late, but Happy belated Canada Day! Personally, as much as Trudeau shook things up sober, I think he would've made an AWESOME drunk P.M. LOL!!! This is a great scene. I love the whole thing. Very Avonlea-esque. Beautiful work. Have a great weekend. :) - Matt
