Description

A view from the place where I was when I lost my previous SLR camera and also were I was when I learned that I lost a grandson. Yet I call this "home" and the place where big game still roam free. The folk who built this man made dam left us with many an interesting story varying from ghosts to raiding the mail coach. This intersects with the transport route up into Africa and was part of our "Wild West".

Like others above wrote, it's a breathtaking pic, Piet Marvellous colours, light & shadow That could be a Dali painted pic !!! When I look at clouds, I like to discover the forms... Often man can see animals or else... That's a part of the word "chimera" definition... ;) Here I get chimera of 2 wild dogs ( right & left) and a wolf ( in the middle with fired eyes) Ok, soon you will write me that I am so special !!! #:o) No problemo lol !!! Bravo Piet Amitiés Magali q:)

This is such an amazing picture that creates a wonderful mood. It has deeply touched me. And I am so sorry to read that you have lost a grandson. I am faced with a future that will include the loss of my oldest grandson due to an illness and so I have a glimpse of the sorrow you feel.

Oh my! You´re still producing spectacular shots i see. #:o) This ominious sky is absolutely fantastic buddy! Love that you shot it in "portrait-format" as well, with plenty of emphasism on the sky above. Have a great one! #:o)

A most magnificent sky and image, Piet! If one must experience the pain of loss, it seems appropriate to be in the presence of such heavenly beauty. Stunning image and many congrats again on the honor, you deserve it!
