Anyone know what this is? It's about waist high and only flowers in the early morning.

No idea and definitely not growing where I live in Africa but if I have to take a wild guess it would be related to the poppies? Well captured, it makes a very pleasant display.

well I guess no one above knows what your flower is: I won't be of any help either! (It's yellow—how's that!) But like everyone else, I think the capture is really nice. Big bright yellow in the midst of all that green, speckled with other flowers & colors behind it. You have a really nice touch with flowers, bold but delicate and even fun. I like this shot a lot, rozanne. Always like when you talk to nature...

Beautiful capture! That's what it is! :^) I have no idea what kind of flower you have there but it's very pretty. I like the unopened buds almost as much as the full blooms. Nice catch, R!

I don't know what it is but its certainly a tender flower to only open in cool morning weather. Soft and buttery capture done very well.
