Draw a face on it and cut it from a long stem - then put on a proper puppet show. :-) A wonderful macro!

you get these really wonderful solo shots, you let flowers solo like jazz musicians. And you have this flare for the quirky part of them too, like this one. Love this shot: It's so big and clunky and bold. Poppies strike me as the "crazy aunts" of flowers—like those relatives everyone loves but who freak everyone out when they arrive for Sunday dinner? That's what this one looks like. Like the roses & daisies & rhododendons are all whispering, "it's her again!" Well you got another delightful shot. Hope your summer's not to hot—a friend in Seville says it's blistering in July. Stay cool, Mme. R. Saludos!
