Description

Happy 4th of July People .. it's been a beautiful day here in Minnesota. We started the day watching the parade in town - Dani was flipping her flag with the color guard girls (she is a flute player), and Ernie played the big base drum (he is actually a trombone player, but he opted for base drum in the parades this summer). They did SO GOOD! I probably should have uploaded something more patriotic than a Ladybug, but oh well. Leave it to me to do a bug instead. ;-) lol Have a wonderful weekend! Wonderful POV and lighting effects in this fine capture of the inverted ladybug hanging on for dear life, Sharilyn. But, now then, where have you been? At least I haven't seen your smiling avatar and cute comments in my gallery recently. And I notice things like that.

I love the light/dark post work, it isolates your bug very well and puts the focus where it belongs. I agree with Boris on the diagonal in the composition. Excellent work Shari. ;) Happy 4th of July celebrations to you, I hope you all had a lovely patriotic day out there. I am sure the kids were making you real proud? You haven't uploaded in days, I hope all is well? Harry and I are missing you.
